I’ve been trying to get a rich Ethiopian espresso shot and I’ve been going through some trial and error. I want to get a sweet but also bright espresso that needs to be toned down. how can I pull my shot of espresso with Kenyan coffee beans that are light roasted?
firstly, in order to get a rich shot of espresso, you Should dark roast your coffee beans. the espresso grinds should be oily. in other words, when you light roast your coffee beans for espresso, they don’t reach their maximum potential. but, as a personal choice, if you insist on the light roast for espresso, I suggest you try light roast coffee beans of Lavazza brand for espresso.
