I just don’t know how to differentiate the coffee roasts when buying them. How can I identify a dark roast from a strong light roast?
Light roast coffee beans are roasted in lower temperatures about 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit, While dark roasted coffee needs at least 430 degrees Fahrenheit. You can identify strong light roast from dark roast visually. Dark roasts are darker than light ones. An additional way to notice is their difference in taste. Dark roasts are a bit bitter while light roasts have a sour flavor due to their more acid contents.
